Overall responsibilities include review, checking and approval of engineering deliverables, bid tabulation, pre-award and kickoff activities, vendor data review and approval, participation in HAZID, HAZOP, model review and factory acceptance testing. Liaison with customer, contractors, other disciplines and vendors to optimize equipment/package cost, weight and size. Good knowledge of ASME, API, PIP standards, codes and recommended practices for equipment selection, design, installation, retrofitting and maintenance.
